The Domain

  • The accommodations are surrounded by a lush garden filled with fruit and nut trees, flowers and herbs. In summer you can freely pick fruit like bramberries and figs all around the terrain. The total terrain consists of 10 hectares of unspoiled nature. Furthermore, there are two agricultural field that are being transformed into woods to support natural biodiversity.

  • There is also plenty of water on the terrain as there are several ponds and a little water stream meandering over the terrain. You can spot frogs and hear their concert at night as they start making sound as the sun goes down.

  • The magical touch of the Le Puy Ardouin domain lays in the beautifully present monolithically rocks and ancient trees. a place to be in awe of these amazing sculptures when you go on a walk, or just sit at the foot of a tree to meditate. It will immediately refresh you and give you new energy.

Romantic garden

The garden has a romantic style, with different areas to sit, to stroll and to succumb to the tranquillity and relaxing vibe of nature.

Follow the sun

From sunrise to sunset, there is always a nice spot in the sun or in the shade where you can enjoy the beautiful view on the surrounding valleys.

Frog pond

There are several ponds on the terrain. Birds have their bath, frogs are jumping away when you get closer. Children love to try and catch them.

Flowers

Being in the Sud Vendee, a lovely climate gives opportunity for Mediterranean flowers to blossom. Colors come to live and brighten up the garden.

Walking on the domain

All around the domain there are fields, valleys and beatiful views. make sure to put on good shoes when hiking here, for it is mostly wild, with abundant growth of plants.

Ancient trees

Several hundreds years old trees are spread over the terrain. This old Oak tree is called our wisdom tree. Standing at its foot is a remarkable experience.

Giant Rocks

The domain is full of giant monolithical rocks. They give the domain an ancient presence, taking you all the way back to the ice age when these stones were transported.

Lounge bed and hammocks

Spread over the terrain you will find spots to lounge and relax. There is a double bed lounge in the garden and there are hammocks between the trees to read a book or take a nap.
